Instructor Training

Our Instructor Trainer Chris Davies has been teaching scuba diving for the last 10 years.  He has taught hundreds of people to dive in beautiful calm Caribbean waters and also in the extremely demanding conditions near his hometown of Plymouth, Devon in the UK.

As a highly experienced Diving Instructor,  Chris believes in thorough and realistic training.   After opening one of the most popular dive shops in the Caribbean, Octopus Diving St. Martin, Chris and his wife Sally decided that they would reduce the allowed 4 to 1, student to instructor ratio to a 2 to 1 student to instructor ratio.  This way they could ensure that each and every scuba student got the individual attention they deserved.  Caribbean Technical Diving has continued the trend of individual attention and personal service with all Technical Diving Courses.  This method of training caught the attention of Mr. Tom Mount, the CEO of IANTD and now Caribbean Technical Diving is wholeheartedly supported by Tom as an IANTD Training Center of Excellence.

Instructor Development Courses are available for the following levels:

– IANTD Advanced Nitrox Instructor/Instructor Trainer
