The beautiful Caribbean Islands of St. Martin/St. Maarten, Saba, and St. Eustatia, lend themselves as perfect locations for any film shoot, whether topside or underwater.  Steeped in history, covered with rain forest and surrounded by the turquoise Caribbean Sea, this region of the Caribbean offers a hospitable working environment, year round water temperatures between 80 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit and fantastic underwater clarity for filming.  Best of all, these islands are easily accessible from many US gateways.

Wreck Diving In St. Martin

Deep Water filming is our speciality.  Our highly professional crew is led by
Chris Davies of Caribbean Technical Diving and Richard Stevenson of Diving Marine Solutions in the UK.  In 2012 Chris and Rich worked on the CBS news program “60 Minutes” as they documented New Zealand free diver William Trubridge’s  world record attempt at Dean’s Blue Hole in the Bahamas.  In the world’s deepest known seawater filled blue hole, our team successfully filmed William Trubridge with a manned camera at a depth of 125 meters/407ft.

Caribbean Technical Diving can provide everything you need for your Underwater Project from a single safety diver to a complete dive team.  Qualified boat captains, support vessels, safety boats and underwater camera operators using the latest camera equipment are available.  We have access to the most technologically advanced camera to date – the RED Epic.  This state of the art camera system shoots 5k resolution making it fully IMAX compatible.  It has been used on major motion pictures such as Avatar 2 and The Hobbit.  With the addition of the Gates Underwater Housing, this camera can shoot cinematic quality images underwater.

Our certified IANTD and PADI Instructors have worked extensively with TV presenters worldwide.  We can provide all levels of dive and rebreather training for your on-camera talent and crew. During  rebreather training and other advanced level dive training programs, we are able to enhance your training experience using full face masks and underwater communications.

Our professional dive team is used to tight schedules, budgets and deadlines.  We will honestly and accurately assess each and every project to enable you to get the most from your budget.

As an approved diving contractor by the Health and Safety Executive, we can help your production, and your team, stay safe, legal, on budget and on schedule.   For further information please Contact Us.
